We are a small, friendly tennis club on the boundary of the Hawkesbury Conservation Area, and close to the Cotswold edge. More to the point we are just behind the Beaufort Arms, which has been in the Good Beer Guide for more than 20 consecutive years. We have two porous macadam courts. They apparently offer a true bounce that benefits hard-serving players who prefer a fast-paced match.

All ages and abilities are welcome - and we really mean that. Why not pop along and see what you make of us?  Club sessions and drop-in coaching are for ages 16+.  All club sessions depend on the weather, and if we are rained off we try to rearrange via our WhatsApp group (apply to Tricia to join). HUYS is a club session for secondary school age, and has a separate WhatsApp group again managed by Tricia.

If you are coming by car, turn off the A46 following the sign for Hawkesbury Upton.  Continue into the village, and park somewhere near to the Beaufort Arms but not in either the pub or the village hall car park.

Walk into the car park of the Beaufort Arms, and out via the footpath in the opposite corner.  Go through the first gate on the right, and follow the short footpath.

Parking can be provided in the Cricket Club car park adjacent to the courts by prior arrangement, but the gate is usually locked. To get there, take the left-hand track beside Beaufort House and turn into the cricket ground through the gate on the left.

Pickleball

Pickleball is among the fastest growing sports both in the UK and in the USA. There is a Pickleball club within a club at HUTC, with its own committee member. Please contact Ray Ferrier if you are interested.

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It is a fun game, easy for beginners to learn but fast and competitive for those who prefer it that way.
